A cafe Nellore actually needed
Nellore has plenty of places to get a coffee. It had fewer places to sit with one for two hours. SCAVA was built around that gap. The room is warm and low lit, the seating is mixed between long tables, two seaters and court side benches, and nobody is going to hurry you out once the cup is empty.
The drinks menu runs from espresso, cortado and Spanish latte to cold brews, cold coffees, ceremonial matcha and boba tea.
The kitchen serves big plates, pastas, starters, salad, breakfast and gelatos, with clear veg and non-veg marks on every dish. Vegetarian options are not an afterthought on this menu.
It works as a work spot too. Reliable wifi, plug points at most tables, and enough ambient noise that you are not the only one typing. Several regulars book a morning court, shower, and stay for the rest of the working day.
Location helps. We are on Kondayapalem Road beside the Bharat petrol bunk, easy to reach from Vedayapalem, Ramamurthy Nagar, Balaji Nagar and the city centre, with parking right outside. Come for a coffee, stay for a game.
